One Drop brewing in Australia is like the Aime Leon Dore of craft beer and when I saw that one of my favourite local breweries, Boneface had collaborated with them, you best believe I was prepared to line up for Ambush in the Night, a peach hazy IPA. With a slick-looking tin and a slick collab, I was expecting big things from this beverage and I was instantaneously smacked with peach notes followed by creamy citrus notes but I needed a few more sips to really understand if I loved or liked this beer and I can confirm that I’m in love! I really enjoy the hit of that peach coupled with that subtle creaminess.
Tasting notes: A lick of a paint tin lid, fermented mango, mandarin and a squirt of canned cream.
