The hazy bracket was (by one hell of a margin) the most jam-packed of this year’s New World Beer & Cider Awards, and mid-strength entries like this one will have been some of the most common.  That is to say: Shining Peak had to pass a whole lot of other beers in the race to get their 4.2% Petite Pegasus over the line.

The aroma is beautifully fresh, with plenty of zingy lime and pineapple over more subtle tropical fruit.  On the palate, it’s similarly fresh and lively, with a great sharpness and just enough weight to make it through to the easy breezy finish.

Superbly balanced and hugely drinkable, Petite Pegasus hits all the hazy targets while keeping the alcohol levels manageable.
