Fermented for 26 days and loaded with all-cryo Mosaic and Citra, this little can has a massive flavour payload aimed straight for the tongue. Deceptively gentle on the nose, with pithy orange rind and tinned mandarins up front, with an oozing resinous note looming further in. You can feel the enormous weight (14.9 per cent ABV!) of the smooth and oily palate even before the flavour kicks in. More sweet orange citrus transitions slowly into tropical fruit and cooling pine, which works to combat the huge sweetness of the malt. The bitterness is comparatively mild, leaving the overall effect as that of a booze infused fruit sorbet. One for the die-hard IPA storm chasers.
