Fresh off another triumph in the GABS Hottest 100, Garage Project are launching a new member of the Pernicious Weed family next week.
Pernicious Weed was Garage Project’s first proper commercial release and it’s now taking on a life of its own. We’ve already had Double Pernicious Weed, Hazy Pernicious Weed and now a new “Weed” will be launched on February 20 — dubbed Pernicious Weed Appreciation Day.
The brewery is keeping the release under wraps for now, calling it Pernicious Weed “spiked with extras”.
There’s a series events scheduled to coincide with the release.
At the 91 Aro taproom in Wellington, the Polish Sausage Company will be serving up juicy bites straight from the grill from 2pm until they’re sold out. At GP Kingsland, Cazador will be serving their iconic Cazadogs from 2pm until sold out.
Other venues where the one-off kegs can be found include: The Malthouse (Wellington), Rogue Hop (Napier), Tony’s Pizza (Palmerston North), the Beer Spot venues in Auckland as well as BBC Tasting Studio, 16 Tun, Brewers Co-op, Hāpi Bar (Hamilton), The Hop House (Tauranga), 5Tapped (Blenheim), Moon Under Water (Christchurch) and Beechtree (Queenstown).
