My search for fridge-filling, six-pack, everyday drinker continues in 2021. Craig Cooper and the team really sum up what I love about the beer industry in NZ. Bach Brewing goal is to brew fresh aromatic beer that complements our costal way of living … I couldn’t agree more! I will leave you to make your own decisions on what the ‘AF’ stands for in the name of this hazy pale ale. Awesomely Fizzy perhaps? A number of hazy pale ales on the market are light in colour and lack any substantial haze however; this beer is the complete opposite! Big bold beautiful colour and big on the haze giving you that impression of the awesome flavour to follow. Juicy on the can, juicy in the glass this beautiful pale ale is chokka full of sweet pineapple, orange and tangerine awesomeness! Balance is a key for me and I feel that Craig and team have loaded just the right amount of bitterness to counter all that sweet fruit flavour! At 5.2% and just over $20 for a 6 pack, this beer provides great value, great drinking and the perfect accompaniment for a bach holiday!
