Behemoth’s Low Hanging Fruit — Blood Orange and Passionfruit Edition Sour was the trophy winner in the newly created No & Reduced Alcohol category at the Brewers Guild Awards. The orange and passionfruit represent well on the nose, with the orange (surprisingly) coming out in front along with a fresh fruit yoghurt. The palate is more juicy than sour, with an incredible rapidity that carries the fresh fruit and wheat flavours across the tongue and bundles them into the snappy finish so fast that any lack of body from the tiny 2.5% ABV is absolutely undetectable. Short, sharp and deftly focused, this is a light beer that really gets it.
