Now if a fresh hazy every month wasn’t enough, Garage Project have brought out Fresh Fruit, a fruited IPA. To be honest, I don’t know if this is a new monthly thing, but it’s here and it’s in my glass! The GP Fresh series has been around for a few years now, and I have had every single installment — even those hard-to-get ones throughout lockdown — but the hype has dwindled and it’s about time Garage Project spiced up the series and what better way to than to mix in a cheeky amount of exotic fruits. This is a 7 per cent pineapple and hibiscus fruited hazy IPA. It’s floral, fruity, sweet and juicier than a dumpling from New Flavour restaurant. In short, this one is an absolute banger and if you want to spice up your hazy life, this is the beer for you.
Tasting notes: Tom Ford lost cherry fragrance on the nose, Juicyfruit gum, strawberry Hubba Bubba, ripe banana and a splash of barista-grade oat milk.
