Brewed to the classic Bavarian wheat beer style. Bottle conditioned and single hopped with Hallertau, this is as traditional an example as you’re going to find made in New Zealand. Anise and distant clove on the nose, along with loads of freshly baked bread. Flowing seamlessly into the hugely wheaty palate, firmly yeast driven with more fresh bread and fruity banana esters. If you’re after that distinctive Hefeweizen style then pass on the Erdinger, the good stuff is made right here. 4.9 per cent ABV
