Queenstown has a lot going for it and bloody good beer is one of them! Altitude Brewing are one of the stalwarts of the Queenstown scene with a great brewpub by the water in Frankton. Waimea, Citra, Mosaic and Galaxy hops go into this Hazy IPA to deliver a big hit of orange juice and mango flavours with a subtle hint of coconut. Don’t be fooled though, the initial sweetness is soon washed away leaving you with a lovely lingering bitterness that’s almost powdery dry towards the end. I simply loved this IPA; it delivered everything I love in a beer! A big shout to Luis Bensemen at Hop on Beer Tours based in Queenstown.
