Edward Cavanagh

Edward Cavanagh is a freelance wine writer and wine industry professional who occasionally calls Margaret River home. Having previously worked as an academic historian, a ghostwriter, a government advisor, a junior sommelier, a cellar hand, a cellar door host, along with sundry back-of-house and front-of-house roles in the wine industry, he is about to publish his first book on wine, Doctors and Millionaires: Wine, Money, and Glory in Margaret River. He describes it as a “gonzo profiling of the obscenely wealthy, olfaction and gustation, viticulture and vinification, vainglory and tragedy, clinical economic analysis, legal journalism, sociocultural commentary, and current affairs”.
