JoAnne Carr

JoAnne Carr is a fifth generation Wellingtonian by way of San Francisco. With a background in journalism, she moved to "the dark side" of communications, marketing, digital media and PR, which has seen her work in the Wellington beer industry and other hospo-adjacent industries for 10 years alongside brands such as Tuatara Brewing, Fork & Brewer, Malthouse, Craft Beer Capital, Beervana, Wellington On a Plate and Highball. She's currently dipping her toe in feature writing after a long hiatus, starting with her pieces in Pursuit of Hoppiness.
