Deep Creek have got on board with the low-carb trend with their LoCal IPA. Sitting at only 3.5 per cent, it’s definitely a session beer. This has been a go-to summer’s day beer with a nice, bright citrus hop character leading into clean, light finish with an assertive bitterness coming through on the end. As you’d expect from a low carb it’s very light on body and malt character which tamps down the flavour perception a little but definitely aids in drinkability.
