Returning after a few years hibernating, this big West Coast style IPA ‘Wolf Man’ is back to cause havoc amongst the hazies. Pine freshness blows through a forest of tropical flavours on the nose, with pineapple and mango hemmed in with pithy grapefruit. The palate hits immediately and it hits hard, with a flash of ripe grapefruit and sweet juicy malt before the profoundly resinous bitterness grabs the tongue and absolutely refuses to let go. This one may be a challenge for some, but for those like me who love to bask in the IBUs then this is very close to a perfect beer.
