Chris Mills of Kereru Brewing joins us for a vertical tasting of his award Night Spirit Barrel-aged Imperial Stout. We go through the three vintages on the market: 2018, 2019 and the recently released 2020. It’s amazing how much each of these beers has an invidual character. And it’s amazing which one came out as our favourite.
There’s an official launch of the 2020 Night Spirit coming up at Salty Pidgen in Wellington. Mills will bringing seven Kererū beers, including the latest and last (we explain why in the video) vintage of Night Spirit. The beers will be paired with six dishes created by chef Amy Gillies.
