Christchurch’s Volstead brewing have made a splash with their new canned lineup. This is a proper West Coast laden with pithy grapefruit and resinous pine hop character. That’s backed up by the smooth sweetness of a generous classic malt bill that brings a light toffee note and then cleans out to a dry and clean finsish and a dank sharp lingering bitterness . Old school brewing from a cool new brewery showing how it’s done.
