Emerson’s Deaf By Chocolate
9% / $17.99 500ml bottle
Richard Emerson loves it when his ears burn. It either means he’s being talked about, or he’s drinking one of his absolute favourites: a chilli chocolate stout. This luxurious, decadent brew is made with cocoa, red chillies, and Belgian yeast, giving it a deliciously complex rich plum, raisin, and chocolate flavour, a smooth velvety texture, and of course a warming spicy finish. Part of the Deafinition that so far includes Richard LX Whisky Porter and Chasing Trains Barley Wine.

An indulgent yet balanced drop of creamy liquid.

Sunshine Double Milk Stout
7% / $11.99 440ml can
Rich and sweet, with loads of chocolate and espresso but also a raspberry-ish deeper note. There’s a slight ash-roast which is just enough to offset the sweet lushness that comes from a liberal lactose addition. And yet the body remains quite light and dry, making it easy to keep coming back to. If you love those sweet, almost milkshakey stouts, this one’s for you.
