The name of this beer best describes a cold, wet winter’s morning at the National Agricultural Fieldays, however for this review I was lucky enough to enjoy it on a sunny Waikato spring evening.  If you’re looking for a big, juicy complex hazy IPA then you won’t find it here.  What you do get is a nice easy-drinking New England-styled beer.   The pale white, hay-coloured appearance draws great comparison to the pea soup mornings in the Tron! Flick the lid off the 946ml glass squealer and the room is instantly filled with tropical, citrus aromas.  A dry, powdery mouth feel followed by a nice well balanced creamy finish makes this beer very approachable even though I found my glass to lack a carbonation. Hamilton gets a bad rap most days but this beer counters that thinking … keep up the good work Good George!
